There are exponentially more types of CNC equipment than screw machines. We have broken down this segment into eleven niche profiles:

1. Small Lot Turning — Turned parts with quantities ranging from 1 pc. to 50 pcs.
2. Small Lot Milling — Milled parts with quantities ranging from 1 pc. to 50 pcs.
3. Small Lot Combined — Parts with quantities ranging from 1 pc. to 50 pcs. requiring both turning and milling.
4. Small Lot Swiss — Parts requiring Swiss type machining with quantities under 1000 pcs.
   
5. Medium Lot Turning — Turned parts with quantities ranging from 50 to 1000 pcs.
6. Medium Lot Milling — Milled parts with quantities ranging from 50 to 1000 pcs.
7. Medium Lot Combined — Parts with quantities ranging from 50 to 1000 pcs. requiring both turning and milling.
8. Production Turning — Turned parts with quantities over 1000 pcs.
9. Production Milling — Milled parts with quantities over 1000 pcs.
10. Production Combined — Parts with quantities over 1000 pcs. requiring both turning and milling.
11. Production Swiss — Parts requiring Swiss type machining with quantities over 1000 pcs.

One shop could handle most of these... but not efficiently. Factors such as shop size, overhead, expertise, cost of equipment, type of equipment, inspection capabilities, location and financial stability all go into the price for components.

We work with a multitude of sources in each of the eleven niches. By working closely with the owners we develop an understanding of their area of expertise and utilize it to benefit our customers.
